How to clean your pool?

Cleaning a pool involves several steps and the use of various cleaning agents and equipment to maintain clear and sanitized water.
Clean the Surface: Use a pool leaf net to remove leaves, debris, and any floating particles from the water´s surface.
Vacuum the Pool: Use a pool vacuum to clean the pool ground and walls. Manual, automatic, or robotic pool vacuums can be used depending on your preference and budget.
Brush the Pool Walls and ground: Use a pool brush to scrub the walls, floor, and steps of the pool to remove algae and other dirt. Regular brushing helps prevent the buildup of algae and stains.
Balance Pool Water Chemistry: Test the pool water regularly using a pool water test kit. Adjust the pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and sanitizer levels chlorine or bromine to maintain proper water balance and prevent issues like scaling or cloudy water.
Disinfect and Sanitize: Use pool disinfectants like chlorine or bromine to kill harmful bacteria and maintain clear water. Follow the manufacturer´s guidelines for the appropriate dosage based on your pools water volume.
Algaecide Treatment: Add liquid anti algae or algaecide to prevent algae growth and keep the water free from green or black algae. Follow the recommended dosage on the product label.
Flocculation if needed: If your pool water is cloudy due to fine particles, you can use a pool flocculant to help the particles settle to the bottom for easy vacuuming. Remember to follow the instructions carefully for proper use.
Backwash and Clean the Filter: If you have a sand or DE filter, backwash it regularly to remove trapped debris and maintain proper filtration. If you have a cartridge filter, clean or replace the cartridges as needed.
Use a Pool Robot Optional: Pool robots or automatic pool cleaners can assist in keeping the pool clean by continuously removing debris from the pool floor. They work independently, scrubbing and vacuuming the pool´s surfaces.
Monitor and Adjust pH Regularly: The pH of the pool water can fluctuate due to various factors. Use a pH modifier pH increaser or pH decreaser to maintain the pH level within the recommended range typically 7.2 to 7.6.
Clean Pool Equipment and Surroundings: Regularly clean pool equipment, such as skimmers and pump baskets, to ensure efficient water circulation. Also, keep the pool deck and surrounding area clean to prevent dirt and debris from entering the pool.
Remember to follow the manufacturer´s instructions and safety precautions when using pool chemicals and cleaning equipment. Regular and proper maintenance will ensure your pool remains sparkling clean and safe for swimming. You can buy them from Edm, Intex, Tangit, Avenli, and Bestway.
